Message from the President - Penny Boorer

Kiwanis International, in conjunction with UNICEF, has undertaken to eliminate Maternal and Neo-natal Tetanus (MNT), a major cause of death for over 160,000 babies and mothers in many countries around the world. Three (3) immunisations, at a cost of only $1.80, will protect a child and mother from MNT. Kiwanis Newcastle has already made significant donations towards The Eliminate Project.

For every $2 donated, a woman will receive a vaccination that will save or protect her and her unborn children from the devastating and deadly effects of Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus.

And don't forget - all donations are tax deductible.

We can do more in the community if we have more people willing to give their time to the many worthwhile programs in our area.

Why not join us?
